What do particpants say?
The Enhanced Masters was launced in September 2014. Here is what a few of the colleagues on the programme have to say:
"I think that most of all the Masters has lead me to question the ways in which I do things and to make changes to my teaching as a result. Being in a group with other MFL teachers and sharing experiences and outcomes from research has been very interesting and helpful in my day to day work. The input from lecturers is a wonderful thing to have access to and I would recommend this course to any teacher looking to improve. I found that coming back to a university course after having qualified a few years ago was a very helpful thing to do." John R, Matthew Arnold School
"The Enhanced Masters programme has helped me to access, enjoy and manage the course. Embarking on a Masters was daunting but the support and networking that this programme has offered has allowed me to get even more out of my study as I move forward to the final year! " Simon B, Oxford Spires Academy
"It's really positive to have others support what you do. It has brightened my view of teaching as a career." Stephen W, Matthew Arnold School
"The Enhanced Masters offers a vital bridge between our rigorous academic study on the MLT and our practice in local Oxfordshire schools. It gives us the chance to share knowledge, ideas and best practice across different subjects as well as a range of schools." Katie J, Wheatley Park School
"The Masters course has made me reflect upon my teaching practice in a way that I have't done for years and has really made me consider my effectiveness as a teacher. One year in, I do generally feel more confident in my knowledge and pedagogical approaches and also empowered to question and consider evidence for change from a more balanced and informed foundation." Jason G, Matthew Arnold School
